Java Developer

6-month contract, Dublin City Centre (Hybrid)

We’re hiring a Java Developer to support the delivery of new features and enhancements across enterprise systems in a standards-driven environment for our client in the consultancy space.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Java code aligned to development standards
• Produce estimates, functional specs, and user stories
• Adhere to code quality, unit testing, and data standards
• Support integration and automation testing
• Participate in peer reviews
• Mentor junior developers
• Assist with system testing and production releases

Required Experience

• 6+ years Java development experience
• Experience with SQL (e.g. SQL, Ingres) and NoSQL (e.g. Hadoop)
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, and structured data formats
• Experience across SDLC (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
